President's message:

It is an honor and a privilege to be able to represent VARP this year and to follow in the footsteps of all the excellent stewards of this organization that have preceded me. The importance of this association cannot be understated because for many of us it our first and most important clearinghouse of information for our profession where we live and work. I appreciate VARP because it allows us to learn about effective medical treatments that can help clients return to work sooner. I also enjoy the camaraderie and networking opportunities.

One goal I would like for us to achieve this year is to increase our membership by 15%. I would like to reach out to college students as well as increase the number of nurses in our membership. I would also like for us to continue to educate our members on the latest best practices, state regulatory changes as well as changes from national and international certifying organizations. I am always open to listening to any new ideas you might have. Please join me in making this year a useful and productive one in the field of rehabilitation.
Thanks,

Scott
