PERSISTENT PAIN: 2010 Pain Conference, Roanoke

This conference will look at new pain management modalities and their application throughout the lifespan.

Target Audience
The conference is designed for physicians from all specialties. Nurses, pharmacists, social workers and other healthcare professionals who come into contact with patients in pain will also benefit from this educational offering.

Objectives
At the conclusion of the conference, participants will be able to:
" Discuss unique features of Neuropathic Pain management strategies
" Identify age appropriate pain management interventions
" Review age appropriate end of life pain management
" Articulate aspects of compassion fatigue

Registration:
" Pre-registration is required.
" Registration deadline: Friday, Aug. 20, 2010.

" Conference fee has been paid by Carilion for those who pre-register and submit an authorization for payroll deduction form via CSOD.

" $175 - The fee includes program syllabus, CMEs, CEUs or VNA contact hours, light breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and parking.
